On Sunday, August 26, Vic Mensa teamed up with his SaveMoneySaveLife Foundation to give away free shoes in the Chicago neighborhood of Englewood, according ABC7.
The event was held in response to local law enforcement placing a bait truck full of sneaker shoes with the purpose of catching local residents in the act of stealing.
During Mensa’s “Anti-Bait Truck” event, thousands of Converse, Puma, Adidas, Nike shoes were distributed to families in need right on the spot.
